“BDS are great - they're friendly and professional, and I regularly recommend them to other businesses," says Melissa Gunn of Small Town Sounds.
Talk about the UK music scene and you might think of Manchester, or Liverpool, Glasgow or Notting Hill Road in London. But amazing sounds are coming out of Dumfries and Galloway, and BDSDigital is helping. Small Town Sounds showcases the vibrant music scene in Dumfries and Galloway, providing a platform for local musicians of all ages to connect with fans, the media and other musicians. It is run by Melissa Gunn.
“Since I moved the hosting of Small Town Sounds to BDS, site downtime has not been an issue and it loads faster too. This ensures that I attract and retain visitors to my website.”
The BDSDigital employs a mix of young innovative and trend-savvy talent alongside experienced team members.
“BDS has been so easy to work with and I feel like they really have the best intentions at heart for my website - they want to make it better rather than just doing the minimum,” says Melissa. “They are also incredibly patient and are happy to answer any questions I may have and work around my schedule.”
Absolute Classics is a music festival, a year-round series of concerts, and an educational programme to develop young musical talent. BDSDigital designed, built and hosts the Absolute Classics website alongside designing all promotional material - pull-up banners, adverts and programmes.
BDS has its own classical music expert, Fraser Clarke, who studied music and composition in Glasgow and joined BDS from university. Fraser provides music data for the Absolute Classics website which combines, therefore, all the industry sectors that have made BDS succesful.
Alex McQuistan, Artistic Director of Absolute Classic, says: “The great thing about BDS is the way it has worked with us at all levels: website, data content, branding, promotional material, pull up banners for display at venues and fund-raising events… I can truly say that BDS is with us all the way.”
And BDS likes to give a generous encore, bringing its commitment to the heart of the businesses it works with. For Absolute Classics, Fraser Clarke is writing an original composition to be premiered in 2019. Bravo!
